Match the DJI drone battery to your exact aircraft

A DJI drone battery must match the model, battery code and power needs of your aircraft. Two packs may look alike but use a different voltage, shape or connector. Check the product details and aircraft manual before ordering. You should also confirm which charger or hub the pack needs, as charging support can vary between models.

Know when it’s time for a new power pack

Consider a DJI drone replacement battery if your current pack has swollen, cracked or started to lose flight time fast. Stop using it if you notice leaks, unusual heat or battery error messages. You can check voltage and cycle data in the DJI flight app on supported models. A high cycle count doesn’t always mean the pack has failed, but performance tends to fall as it ages.

Store and charge batteries with care

Let each pack cool after a flight before charging it. For storage longer than 10 days, DJI advises keeping many flight batteries at around 40–65% charge in a cool, dry place. Don’t leave a pack empty for months, as deep discharge may damage the cells. Check the guidance for your exact model, since smart discharge settings can differ.
